Mullrose sets a science-based climate target
At Mullrose, we believe sustainable business is essential for a liveable future. That’s why we had a near-term science-based target validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a globally recognised initiative that supports companies in setting emissions-reduction targets aligned with climate science.
What does this mean in practice?
As of 15 May 2025, Mullrose has been awarded the SBTi “Targets Set” status. This means our near-term target has been officially approved under the requirements for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Our target
Mullrose B.V. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 54.6% by 2033 from a 2023 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.
Why this matters
With this step, Mullrose underlines its commitment to helping limit global warming to a maximum of 1.5°C. We take responsibility for our emissions and choose structural reductions rather than offsetting.
More information about the Science Based Targets initiative can be found at sciencebasedtargets.org.
